Max Collins and Pancho Magno Confirm Their Breakup: After two years of rumors about Max Collins and Pancho Magno’s breakup circulating online, the actress and mother of one has finally found the courage to confirm the rumor.
Max finally spoke out about what was happening on May 29, when she was a guest on GMA Network’s Fast Talk with Boy Abunada. During the first part of the two-part series, the King of Talk asked the actress about her genuine connection with the actor.
In February 2021, when their son Skye Anakin’s birthday fell on two different days, Max and Pancho’s split parties started making people think they were breaking up.
In the same month, Max told GMA’s Nelson Canlas that Pancho “just couldn’t be there” at her party with Skye and that she was working when the star threw a party for their son. She also said that they would “make bawi the next time.”
Two years later, the actress has finally said that she and her now ex-husband were already having problems at the time, and she’s now “ready to talk about it.”
Max started by saying, “We broke up a long time ago, like during the pandemic. We didn’t talk about it, or at least I didn’t, because we were all busy as a family at the time. There was an outbreak, I got sick, and my marriage broke up.”
The Voltes V: Legacy star went on to say that she and Pancho “decided to keep quiet about it,” since she is a famous celebrity and didn’t want their lives to become a telescope.
Max said that it was hard for the couple to go through with the divorce, but they did it anyway because they both thought it was best for their son.
“Every breakup is hard, but this one was friendly,” she said next. “We weren’t working. We needed to spend time apart to see how that would work since we have a kid to think about. And I think that a child needs happy parents for him or her to be happy. That’s a big deal.”
But the actress said that she and Pancho fought hard for their eight-year relationship to last before they made this choice. Max and Pancho tied the knot on December 11, 2017, four years after they started dating.
She continued, “We talked about it until we reached a point where we stopped rejecting it… I didn’t want to keep lying to myself. I don’t think he wanted to either.”
Max couldn’t be happier that she and Pancho have made a “mutual decision” to part ways.
She said, “I’m ready to talk about it now because we’re in a good place. I did ask him if I could do this talk with you, and he said yes. We’re in a great place right now.”
“Our son is almost three years old, and he’s happy and healthy. We’re so lucky, and we get along very well as co-parents. In fact, we’re the best of friends. We’re getting better,” Max said.
Max stated that their daughter Skye doesn’t appear to mind spending time with them separately, indicating that she and Pancho have a strong co-parenting relationship.
“It worked best for us because, while he was growing up, he was never nakita na magkasama.” He doesn’t remember it, so he’s always done it. ‘When I’m with Mommy, I’m always with Mommy. “When I’m with Daddy, I’m with Daddy,” Max explained. “So he always looks forward to seeing the other one because he gets the best out of each of us.”
During the conversation, Max told Boy that she doesn’t feel hurt or angry when she thinks back on how their relationship ended. So, when asked what she learned from all of this, the mother of one said, “You have to respect yourself and love yourself enough to leave the table when your needs aren’t being met.”
“I need to love myself more so I can figure out what makes me happy and how to be the best version of myself. You only get one life.” “That’s what I’ve learned,” she said to wrap things up.
